Despite the current operators opting out ahead of a change in licensee on October 7, council are still looking for existing market stallholders to participate.
“Being aware of community concerns, I asked that an interim market be considered during the transition from the current operator to the new licensee,” Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery said.
“We anticipate a mix of stallholders and live entertainment. Existing Friday stallholders are encouraged to visit Council’s website to complete an application form.”
