Wollongong police have called for public assistance in their investigation into an alleged sexual assault at Fairy Meadow on Monday.
Police said a 39-year-old Fairy Meadow man had been charged with several offences in relation to an alleged incident at a premises in Elliotts Rd between 2pm and 3pm on Monday.
He was refused bail and would appear in Wollongong Local Court on December 12.
Police would like to speak to people who may be able to assist with the investigation, including a man who was driving a ute who spoke to a female wrapped in a towel, and a woman aged in her 20s with dark brown hair who was walking along Elliotts Rd around that time.
