The likes of Shaun Nona and Shannon Wakeman are yet to taste NRL action in their mid-20’s while Adam Quinlan has been told his services won’t be required at the club next season.
Demetriou is confident all three have a future in the NRL if given an opportunity.
“I think Shaun Nona is the biggest untapped talent outside the NRL, I’m huge fan of his,” Demetriou said.
“Shannon Wakeman’s the best prop in the NSW Cup and now the Queensland Cup and he showed that again today and I thought Adam Quinlan had some great touches to.
“It’s just about investing in talent, I know it’s hard with salary cap restrictions and that sort of thing but I think we need to find a way to keep these blokes at the top level of the game.”
