Interchange Illawarra has been providing flexible, local and personal support to people with disabilities and their families and/or carers for over 30 years in the Illawarra/South Coast region.
“We may be a small disability provider but we like to think we have had a big voice in our local community; partnering with people with disabilities and their families and carers to advocate for a more accessible, inclusive and open community,” they said. “Our reputation is for being innovative and creative in tailoring supports to the needs of the people that use our service.”
The Interchange approach is to work in partnership every step of the way with people with disabilities and their carers through choice of services.

Interchange will also have guest speakers to share their NDIS experience at a session later this month.
Long-standing Interchange board member Lorraine Diaz said, “The first time I went to Interchange, it was that ‘glimmer of hope’. I felt I was not alone and I had people willing to help me.”
