Punters decked out in short pants, braces, lederhosen and beer-maid outfits visited the German Club at Kembla Grange for Oktoberfest celebrations.
The club kicked off celebrations on Friday, and were due to run until Sunday.
Club duty manager Robert Prstec said Saturday was the peak day for the club’s celebrations, with 4500-5000 people expected.
“Everyone’s got big smiles on their faces, and a lot of the regulars who come to the event save their money for this (all year),” he said.
Mr Prstec said Saturday’s warm weather ensured Radler, a light beer/lemonade mix (“like a shandy in a bottle”) proved popular.
