A Provincial Plate (1200m) will headline what should be a solid meeting at Kembla Grange for the club’s Master Builders Association NSW Illawarra Divison Race Day this Saturday.

On a day where the much anticipated Cox Plate battle between Winx and Hartnell at Moonee Valley is set to have punters out in force, the Illawarra Turf Club hosts an eight race card.

While acceptances for the meeting aren’t finalised until Thursday morning, the Provincial Plate looks to be the pick of the bunch after weights were released on Tuesday.

There was a total of 114 entries.

The first race will jump at 1.19pm and the last event at 5.44pm.

In greyhound racing, Dapto will race as per usual on Thursday.

Race one jumps at 7.22pm.

Saturday has another Bulli dogs meeting, with the Ladbrokes Goulburn-Bulli final (472m).

The $2100-to-the-winner decider jumps at 7.55pm and race one is at 6.21pm.
