Prather had 29 points as the Cats snuck home 75-73 last-start at Perth Arena and his battle with in-form Hawks swingman Marvelle Harris will no doubt be one to savour on Friday night. 

It will be the first time the Hawks have played at The Jungle since being bundled out of the finals there last season but Prather said that’s been firmly wiped from the memory bank.

“Going into the game we’re not really thinking about what we could’ve done or should’ve done or how we won the game,” Prather said.

“It’s a new year and a new opportunity to go out and get another win. We’ve just got to expect a good hard-fought game. 

“The Hawks are a great team. Defensively and offensively they really like to get up tempo and they’re coached very well. 

“I love playing up tempo so I feel I fit into that game flow so it should be good.”
