The New Zealander went off with a groin injury less than four minutes into the Wildcats’ 72-69 victory over Melbourne United on Sunday afternoon.
The injury comes just a couple of days after new import Andre Ingram arrived at the club.
Asked on Sunday if Ingram would start from this point on, Perth coach Trevor Gleeson said; “It depends with Jarrod Kenny. We will have to see with the physio.
“Jarrod has been playing great for us and hopefully it isn't major.
“We will see that during the week.”
Perth will come to Wollongong on Friday night with an imposing 4-1 record to start the new NBL campaign.
The match will provide the Hawks with a chance to exact revenge on the defending champions, who extended their winning run over Illawarra on their home floor last Friday night.
