Police are investigating an armed hold-up at Berkeley after three men burst into a convenience store and threatened the attendant with knives.
The three unknown males, believed to be in their early 20s, held up the Berkeley Seven Eleven around 5am on Saturday, making off with cash and cigarettes.
Police are now searching for the men, who were wearing jackets and tracksuit pants at the time.
In a separate incident, a Warrawong newsagency was the victim of an attempted armed robbery around 8am yesterday morning after three knife-wielding men confronted the store owner.
They fled without any proceeds.
Police said it was too early to know whether or not the incidents were linked.
