An 11-year-old autistic girl who went missing from her Warilla home has been reunited with her parents, after police broadcast her description from a chopper flying overhead.

The girl was reported missing about 3pm, just as a Polair helicopter was returning to its Sydney base from the South Coast.
The chopper was brought in to aid the search effort, flying low over Reddall Parade, and crossing the lake.
From the air, police called on residents to keep watch for an "11-year-old missing girl, 43kgs, blonde hair", a witness has told the Mercury.
A woman found the girl on King Street a short time later, Lake Illawarra Police Inspector Brian Pedersen said.
"It [the broadcast] got people out of their houses and looking," he said.
The girl was reunited with her parents. She was met by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital for health checks.
The Mercury understands she showed no outward sign of illness or injury.
