The Kindness Crew (www.kindnesscrew.com.au) was founded by Mrs Cooper who is a positive psychology coach.
She wanted to inspire people to perform random acts of kindness.
She recently released an annual ‘Advent Calendar’ to hundreds of schools nationwide as a simple way to promote kindness in schools, homes and workplaces.
Mrs Cooper was inspired to create the first calendar to counteract her children’s increasing materialism leading up to Christmas.
Rather than writing a list for Santa of gifts they wanted, her children had to perform a checklist of acts of kindness before December 25.
Since that first Christmas calendar was launched The Kindness Crew have created and distributed thousands of Kindness Advent Calendars.
There is one for primary schools, one for families and one for use within the workplace. The calendars can be download for free at http://kindnesscrew.com.au/images/pdf/calendars/JC-AdventCal-A4-Family.pdf. Video information at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cED_9KsQXoU.
