The club announced on Wednesday that Mann, 43, would take up position as an assistant first grade coach and senior technical director. He was keen to get started in his new role.
“I was really excited about the opportunities here at the Wolves as the new management has a clear vision of building better footballers through building better people, and that resonates with me greatly,” he said.
“It was easy to jump on board and continue my career here at a club which is no doubt on the way up and going places.”
Mann made more than 200 appearances at Hull during his playing days before joining the coaching ranks in the UK when he retired.
After moving to Australia in 2013, he worked Program/Development Manager at Bossley Park High School before being snapped up by A-League giants Sydney FC to coach their under-18’s last season. At the end of the campaign, he was contacted by Wolves first grade coach Jacob Timpano, who felt he had a lot to offer.
"We talked about quite a few things and he was very keen to become part of our coaching team, pass on his guidance to our senior squad and also mentor myself individually and assist all our other coaches in their growth and development,” Timpano said.
Julio Miranda will coach the under-20’s and Richard Lloyd the under-18’s. Alfredo Esteves is a senior assistant.
