Best known for the hit “Amazing”, Lloyd will headline the post-event family fun day alongside local entertainers plus motorcross stunt riders at the Croome Road Sporting Complex, Albion Park Rail.
It comes as Lloyd has been doing the rounds to revive his music career with the release of a new album, a gig at the Melbourne Cup Carnival and a controversial performance at the AFL Brownlow Medal.
The charity event, run by Illawarra radio station i98, begins under police escort from the Illawarra Coal West Cliff Colliery on Appin Road around 8am.
The procession heads down Mount Ousley, through King Street in Warrawong then down Lake Entrance Road past Shellharbour before finishing in Albion Park Rail.
Last year Convoy raised $1,539,000 and more than $7.7 million since 2005.
In October, the charity initiative won its 8th Australian Commercial Radio Award for Best Community Service Project in a Provincial Area.
