The Wildcats star centre was cleared of serious injury to his left shoulder on Monday afternoon.
He re-injured his shoulder in the fourth quarter of the Wildcats 83-72 loss to the Sydney Kings last Saturday with what was thought to be a serious injury.
However, Knight underwent a CT scan on Monday and was cleared of any serious damage.
An update from the Wildcats said he would be “rested for the next 24 hours before further testing is conducted.”
It remains unclear if he will be available for Perth’s match with the Hawks next Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats will already be missing inspirational skipper Damian Martin after he suffered an MCL tear against the Adelaide 36ers earlier this month.
Illawarra haven't beaten the Wildcats in Western Australia capital since December 17, 2006.
