A cyclist has suffered a serious head injury in a collision with a car, Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to the accident, on the Princes Highway near Bellevue Road, at 8.20am.
It is believed the cyclist was not wearing a helmet.
Paramedics treated the 25-year-old man on scene before conveying him to an ambulance rescue helicopter which landed nearby.
The man has been airlifted to St George Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Traffic in the area was heavy, with one northbound lane closed while the man was treated by ambulance officers and police assessed the scene.
