Chloe has Vanishing White Matter disease, a rare and degenerative brain disease for which there is not yet a cure. Fundraising events have been held across the Illawarra to donate towards a cure.
A group of mums from Chloe’s school, Woonona East Public, have organised the disco, which is for kids aged 5-13.
“Chloe's so excited – every day she wakes up and says ‘is it my disco day today mummy’?” mum Nyree Saxby said.
“I think it's pretty amazing, this group of 10 mums giving up their own family time every Monday night for 2 hours for the last 10 weeks to organise a disco for Chloe.”
“Woonona Bulli RSL have been so supportive ... they are opening their Bistro for us at 5pm for families (before) the kids disappear into the disco for two hours.”
Tickets for Chloe’s Rainbow Disco are $20.
