The exhibition has taken owners Aaron Fell-Fracasso and Ann Eklund all year to collate, with works from 30 artists including renowned painter Paul Ryan.
Fell-Fracasso said he approaches a variety of creatives throughout the year, from young emerging talent like India Mark and Chris Zanko to their nationally and internationally acclaimed peers like Eva Kerek, Sofi Lardner and Henry Jock Walker.
The design brief is simple, do whatever you like on a 12 by 12 centimetre canvas.
“My selection process looks at artists I think will work on that scale and I also choose some artists that may be interested in challenging themselves at that scale,” Fell-Fracasso said.
Redfern’s Rosie Deacon was one up for the challenge, normally working with sculpture and installations.
Exhibition works range from abstracts to portraits, to well known buildings and iconic landscapes.
‘Xmas Show’ at the Egg & Dart runs from December 2 to 24.
