Founder Neil Webster, aka Santa Claws, said there are only a few hundred red and green wristbands left and urges anyone heading along to one of the 22 venues this Saturday to buy one for the cause.
“The awkward part is people who turn up on the day, we encourage then to buy a ticket only because it is a donation and you’re missing the point of the event – to raise money for kids at Christmas,” Mr Webster said.
He hoped to top last years fundraising total of $110,000.
Shuttle buses will be running between Wollongong CBD venues from 4pm – 3am, while buses will be taking people home as far as Thirroul and Dapto from 11pm – 4am.
Rotary will also have two food stations set up to feed the hungry masses, while Salvation Army volunteers will also be about collecting more donations throughout the night.
