Called Bikes and Bulls, the “family entertainment show” would – if approved – move in to the showground on January 21, ahead of a night time show on Sunday, January 22.
The development application, which is on public exhibition until January 9, explains the “scripted show combining rodeo and freestyle motocross” would attract about 1500 people.
On a website promoting the event – planned for Richmond, Wollongong and Coffs Harbour – punters are advised they can “witness the two most dangerous sports in the world face off”.
Additionally there would be “cowboys trying to hang on to the toughest bulls in the country while the Team from Aussie FMX hang off their bikes as they turn them self’s [sic] inside out and upside down”.
The event would also have fireworks, food and merchandise stalls and a jumping castle set up within the showground.
