The long campaign has seen he and fellow Test and Origin star Josh Dugan granted extended leave on their return to Australia but Frizell, who recently signed a two-year contract extension with the club, said he is keen to return after Christmas.
“I’ve heard a lot of good things about the new boys in the squad ripping into training which is good to hear and I’m looking forward to meeting them and training alongside them,” Frizell said.
“For me personally I didn’t think last season was the type of year that would happen but I am grateful for it. It has been a massively long year for myself so I am making the most of the time away to relax. Following on from the Four Nations I was able to do a little bit of touring and travelling including getting to visit both France and Italy which something nice to do after a long year.”
