The school has been celebrating its 100th anniversary and this culminated in a centenary dinner at the WEC on Saturday.
Teacher/librarian Liane Pfister said more than 700 people attended, the oldest of which was 96.
“The current students did a performance which was a summary of some of the musicals we’ve done since we became a performing arts school,” she said.
Leading up to the dinner, Ms Pfister visited the school’s oldest living ex-student, 101-year-old Isabel Kimber (née Warner), at Woonona IRT. “She was such a lovely, amazing woman,” Ms Pfister said. “Unfortunately due to recent falls, she was not well enough to come to the centenary dinner.”
