Victories from Right As Rain (race one), Archangel (race three), Balestrand (race four) and Ebenos (race five) completed a dominant display from the jockey-trainer combination.
Paul Snowden was on-track to see it all unfold and was delighted how the day panned out.
The stable only had five runners on the card, but nearly tasted success with all of them.
“Days like today are great,” Snowden said.
“I am sure a lot of the staff will get great satisfaction as will Dad [Peter] and myself.
“It is a really good day and I am very proud of everyone.”
All four runners were considered big chances in their respective markets, with all of them sent out as favourites.
Right As Rain was an early favourite in the TAB Fixed Odds market before jumping as an equal $2.80 top elect alongside Kerry Parker’s Virgilio.
It looked to be a race in two when the two favourites paired off in the lead at the top of the straight in the Happy New Year 3YO Maiden Handicap (1000m).
But Right as Rain was able to fight off the challenge of Parker’s three-year-old to salute.
Virgilio tired over the concluding stages to finish third behind Gwenda Markwell’s Babe In Boots ($9.50).
Snowden was pleased with the gutsy performance.
“She certainly toughed it out really good today,” he said.
“That’s just her. She is by a tough filly herself and she is only going to get better as she gets over longer.”
The duo doubled the dosage in the Auld Lang Syne Fillies and Mares Maiden Handicap (1300m) through promising filly Archangel.
Backed into a $1.80 favourite, the well-bred three-year-old by Lonhro got going late in a comfortable 1-¾ length victory over Robert and Luke Price’s Zablitz ($16). Sretan ($5) was third.
“The Snowden’s always have them up to the mark when they come to the races and she was here ready to win today,” Shinn said.
“We got the job done and I think she can go on to better things now.”
Balestrand and Ebenos completed the remarkable day with determined victories.
Meanwhile, Adam Hyeronimus combined with Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott late in the day to finish with a winning double.
Poldark took out the penultimate event before Hyeronimus produced a stellar front-running ride to win the last on rock-hard fit mare Funloving.
