Hayden from Compleat Angler at Windang said with the full moon not far off and the weather forecast offering stable conditions, there should be heaps of fish coming in. Offshore water temps are slowly rising and a few marlin have started to show so best bet would be to try to find a temp break out near or over the shelf and ‘blind’ troll a wide pattern of lures and concentrate on sounder readings.

If you manage to locate bait schools, work that area overtime and drop down livies and sit on the schools.
The dollies are out on the DPI/Fisheries FADs and again, no biggies but they are now sizeable enough to be taking livies and bigger plastics.
Inshore reefs have turned it on for snapper and again sounder readings indicate where the reds are feeding. Fish early mornings or late arvo sessions for the better results in the shallower zones.
Lake Illawarra has been fishing well with an influx of fish to keep visitors and locals happy, especially the whiting on the sand flats for those who used live worms or nippers. Small pencil poppers will also attract the better size fish with orange or light yellow colour working well earlier in the week.
Flathead are starting to move in to the channel where that have been physically seen lying in wait for the bait to pass by on the tide changes.
White coloured plastics, live poddy mullet or white bait rigged on very small ganged hooks should get you hooked up.
