Chasing 7-112, Julie Page and captain Bronte Stray had a 68-run partnership.
Page smashed 44 off 34 balls, including five fours and a six, before NT lost 4-10 when within reach of victory.
However, they would not be denied, Marii Kaukura ensuring NT’s victory with four balls to spare.
Elsewhere, Victoria won both Twenty20 matches on Monday, to push ahead of NSW on net run rate.
The sixth women’s round is played on Tuesday morning, before the semi-finals, with a decider at at Uni Oval on Wednesday afternoon.
