The Kiama Game Fishing Club’s 16th annual Children’s Charity Fishing Competition was held last Sunday in near perfect conditions and attracted 74 entries over the 3 nominated age divisions.
Entry fees raised $1823 plus $500 from Minnamurra Lions Club’s Charity BBQ that combined to make a $2323 donation to Peterborough Special School for disabled children at Warilla.
Once again, the day would not have been the success it was without the sponsors and thanks goes to Shimano, Bunnings Hardware, Toyworld Kiama and Ocean Storm Tackle.
Section and age division winners have been posted on the club’s Facebook page and their website at www.kiamagfc.com.au.
