It may be one of the more bizarre sports you've heard of but FootGolf is gaining popularity, with golf clubs around Australia cashing in on the latest craze.

FootGolf combines elements of football and golf to create a sport attracting new groups to golf courses around the world.
Northbridge Golf Club is one of two official FootGolf courses in Sydney. General manager Mark Delatovic said the club had only been offering the sport for a few weeks now but it was already popular.
"We've been very happy with the response." Mr Delatovic said. "Quite a few have played it overseas and now see it here."
The rules are simple. Players try and kick a football into a hole, with the player who does it in the least amount of shots winning.
Created in the 2008 by Michael Jansen in the Netherlands, FootGolf now has an international governing body and 32 member countries around the world.
Mr Delatovic said it was bringing in a different demographic.
"It's much more a younger person's activity." he said, highlighting the increased number of young girls and families coming to the course.
In a similar way to how barefoot bowls has revitalised lawn bowls clubs around Australia, FootGolf aims to introduce a new generation to Australia's golf courses.
According to Mr Delatovic, FootGolf also does less damage to the course due to the fact that studded boots are not allowed.
"A person kicking a soccer ball doesn't create a divot," said Mr Delatovic. "The only thing we insist on is that they don't wear football boots.
"It's a nine-hole course here," said Mr Delatovic. "It normally takes a group of four about an hour and a half."
Northbridge is one of the more difficult FootGolf courses in Australia due to its undulating fairways but people of all ages still enjoy kicking a ball around the course with a harbour view.
"There are tournaments that are being run regularly around the state," said Mr Delatovic. "As much as it's great for kids and families, people with very high football skills have been coming and using it."
A FootGolf Australian Open was held in Jamberoo in May 2016, where some of the best local and foreign players competed in a four-day tournament.
The other accredited Sydney course is in Werrington, near Penrith.
