Most people put a line through the Bullets as play-off contenders when Cam Bairstow tore his ACL against the Hawks three weeks ago and that was before Anthony Petrie was added to the list. They ost Adam Gibson to a calf injury against the Hawks and still managed to get within a Kevin Dillard buzzer-beater against New Zealand on Sunday.
"That one obviously really stings, there was so much good stuff throughout the game and a lot of evidence that if we play a certain way we are a very good basketball team," Andrej Lemanis said.
"Obviously down the stretch now there is some confidence issues or something going on, probably the last four minutes of the game it was unfortunate that we made a lot of bad decisions both on offence and on defence. We've got to be smarter down the stretch in understanding where our bread and butter lies."
