Blue skies and hot weather greeted Voyager of the Seas on a perfect morning in Wollongong on Wednesday.

It was a hot start for the Royal Caribbean mega-liner’s second visit to Wollongong in three weeks.
And the man most instrumental in bringing cruise ships to the Illawarra met her out to sea to make sure the 4200 passengers and 1800 crew knew the third cruise ship visit to Wollongong in as many months is just as important as the first.
Wollongong is pushing for the city to become a turnaround port and #cruisewollongong chair Cr Leigh Colacino knows just how important it is for him, the 160 volunteer ambassadors in blue shirts and all residents and businesses people to make all the visitors feel welcome.
Many started hopping on buses for day tours and to come into the city on Premier Illawarra buses just after 8am.
Five members of the management team will be coming onshore to learn more about the city and region during the day. It will include a visit to Symbio Wildlife Park.
Voyager of the Seas will leave Port Kembla Harbour between 4.30pm and 5pm on Wednesday.
