THIS weekend gives us a chance to achieve something we haven’t been able to as a group this season and that’s string together back-to-back performances in a double-header.

Typically this season when we’ve had two games in a round we’ve produced chalk and cheese performances, coincidentally against both our opponents this weekend.
In round seven we were awful against New Zealand away and beat them at home two days later while in round 11 we let ourselves down badly in Cairns only to back up and beat Brisbane away
Like all things in professional sport, it comes down to mental toughness, particularly the second leg against the Taipans.
We’ll travel up there on Saturday, hopefully after doing the job against the Breakers. They’ll be at home but they’ll be coming off a round trip from Perth so no doubt both teams will be doing all the right things recovery-wise.
The game itself will come down to a battle of wills’. We need to be up for that fight.
