On Friday he was at the Kiama Golf Club with the Blue Rays rocking the night away and getting people on the dance floor. The other members are Colin Hardcastle, Raf Invernon, Frank Garcia and Shane Elliot.
But in 2016 Taylor introduced a new laid back duo to the local music scene. Doux Ame started making regular appearances in the Lobby Bar at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach and at Table 426 in Corrimal.
Taylor plays the piano and Jackie Bennett sings and together they bring a blend of soul, jazz and contemporary music to the city. Doux Ame returns to the Lobby Bar on January 27 and at Table 426 on the Princes Highway, Corrimal with a touch of musical romance for Valentines Day on February 14.
And in another example of his diversity Taylor and the Blue Rays will be playing a Blues Brothers Tribute Show at the Balgownie Hotel on February 25.
