After taking Voyager of the Seas visitors on a pre-booked tour to the Kiama Blowhole, Crooked River Winery, Illawarra Fly, Fitzroy Falls, Kangaroo Valley and Berry last week Illawarra Women in Business director Glenda Papac is in demand by the company that organises such tours.
After making passengers on a shuttle bus feel so welcome during Voyager’s first visit Mrs Papac was invited by Intercruise to lead a day tour during its second visit. She took the mic on a Premier Illawarra coach and said she had a “fantastic day” where the Illawarra really turned it on. The wind changed direction at the blow hole just as they arrived for it to put on a show and the day was full of many WOW moments. “At Crooked River Winery we had a perfect lunch..and even the South Australian said the views were better than their wineries. Driving the Kiama Bends people gasped at the views. A tourist from Cleveland was gobsmacked at the view at Fitzroy Falls. He said he has never seen a more beautiful view.”
Many were interested to see the Robertson area because of Babe, loved the scenery everywhere they went and want to come back. “It wasn’t hard to sell the Illawarra”.
Intercruise had such positive feedback that Mrs Papac has been invited to lead a shore excursion in Sydney on February 4 a day after she welcomes celebrity chef Matt Moran at the first IWIB networking lunch on February 3. http://www.iwib.com.au.
