As part of a Roads and Maritime Services project Corpus Christi College, Oak Flats Public School and Shell Cove Public School get new flashing school zones signs installed.
“Ensuring the safety of school children and pedestrians in school zones is of the utmost importance,” said Shellharbour MP Anna Watson.
“I am hopeful that the installation of these flashing lights will help to alleviate some traffic and pedestrian issues that have plagued Shell Cove Public School.”
Work will begin on February 13 and finish in early March. The old signs will remain in place until the new ones are operational.
