1.30pm: Two northbound lanes on the M1 Princes Motorway have reopened after an earlier truck fire. Traffic remains heavy.
Light vehicles can consider using Bulli Pass instead.
All southbound lanes have reopened.
1pm: A broken down truck is compounding traffic problems after an earlier truck fire on Mount Ousley Road (M1 Motorway).
Hazmat crews have been called to the truck fire site, due to concerns about oil and water flowing into a nearby creek.
With traffic queues of 2km, motorists are advised to expect delays and light vehicles are advised to consider using Bulli Pass.
12.30pm: All southbound lanes and one northbound lane have reopened on the M1 Princes Motorway in Mount Ousley after a truck fire.
Two of three northbound lanes remain closed on the motorway as the clean-up continues.
Motorists are advised to allow plenty of additional travel time.
12.20pm: Traffic Management crews are working to open southbound lanes, northbound lanes remain closed.
Northbound traffic is stretched back to the Memorial Drive exit at Gwynneville, and motorists are advised to take a detour if possible.
Southbound traffic also remains heavy back to Picton Road.
Midday: The M1 Princes Motorway is closed in both directions due to a truck fire approaching the Mount Pleasant Road overpass.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use Bulli Pass (Princes Highway) instead.
Motorists already on the motorway are advised to expect significant delays.
Emergency services are on site and traffic crews are attending.
