The Hawks play the first of the best-of-five grand final series in Perth on Sunday night before game two in Wollongong on Wednesday night.
Hawks’ owner James Spenceley was tipping a big crowd and said the grand final was a goal he set when he rescued the club three years ago.
”It’s one of the things you say but you never know how it will turn out and now we’ve got a grand final game in Wollongong,’’ he said.
“(The crowd) has been deafening and the great thing is there is such a connection team and crowd.
“With Roti (Rotnei Clarke) doing his `eating cheeseburgers’ gesture with the crowd and things like that with the team, there is such a close relationship between the players and fans.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday and are available through the Ticketmaster website.
Tip-off for the game will be 7.30 pm on Wednesday with the doors open at 6.30 pm.
