The pass, which provides a direct link between Appin and Picton Road, has been closed since a storm damaged the one-lane bridge in June 2016.
Wollondilly Shire Council chose a tenderer for the rebuilding work late last year and the bridge is on track to be reopened by July this year.
This weekend Wollondilly Shire Council is holding an on-site information session.
“Repairing Broughton Pass is a high priority and council understands the closure is having a significant impact on residents that use this route,” a spokeswoman said.
The information session is on this Sunday from 10am to noon.
Entry will be available on both the Appin (500m walk to bridge) and Wilton (1km walk) sides, with a car shuttle service available for those with mobility issues.
