Wollongong council is seeking people between 12 to 24 to help think up and deliver youth programs.
Community manager Sue Savage said the “participatory budgeting” program was a first for the council.
“We are recruiting a number of young people and will provide then with coaching to look at how they discover what young people need in the city, and then develop a solution for their findings and how they go about budgeting for the change they have developed,” she said.
