Homes and businesses in Towradgi and Fairy Meadow were without power for several hours on Sunday after a car crashed into an electricity pole on Pioneer Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 11.30am to find a man trapped in his Nissan 4WD and the power lines dangling.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews isolated the power before cutting the man free.
Endeavour Energy and a crane were called in to further secure the site and work to restore power to more than 1600 homes afftected by the power outage.
NSW Ambulance Inspector Norman Rees said the male driver, aged around 19 or 20, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Woolworths Fairy Meadow was forced to rely on back-up generators during the outage and the Towradgi Beach Hotel was forced to close until the evening trade.
“The Kevin Borich Express band [will] also not be playing,” the hotel wrote on its Facebook page.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
