Highlights of the day include Just Two, an Irish band from 11am-2pm and U2 Tribute band Achtung Baby from 2-4pm. The Sutherland Brothers will entertain with Irish music including an Irish bagpipe player from 7-9pm and there’ll be Irish dancers too. The evening’s entertainment will be the Go Sets from 9pm to late.
Pop in at lunchtime to soak up the atmosphere and after work or, better still, tell the boss you won’t be in this Friday. Dicey’s publican George O’Poulos (as he will be known this Friday) even suggests that you get the WHOLE office up to Dicey’s this Friday!
George has been getting rave reviews and is fast becoming Wollongong’s favourite publican! He insists that Dicey’s character and soul is of paramount importance in its renaissance transformation. Live music, great value food and the friendly hospitality are his (corner) blarney stones!
Dicey’s Bottle Shop is open daily until 11pm plus there’s an ever-increasing range and reduced prices across the board with wines for under $7, budget range spirits and beer from $35 per carton.
Dicey’s Bistro is open seven days for lunch and dinner with something on every day:
- Monday nights – $12 Beer & Burger night
- Tuesday – Social Darts
- Wednesday – Live Piano Karaoke
- Thursday – Trivia in Bistro
- Friday – Live Rock bands from 9pm
- Saturday – Live Indie bands from 9pm
- Sunday – Pool Comp from 4pm & Big Blues Band on last Sunday of each month
See you at the bar with some friendly banter and a cheery smile from their staff. It’s tradition in Ireland that beer or whiskey can be taken on St Patrick's Day although Irish pub-goers are aghast that the heads of their creamy pints of Guinness are popular.
Dicey’s is conveniently located close to Wollongong Train Station and the free shuttle bus route so drag out your best green outfit, derby hat, shamrock or pot-of-gold patterned frock and make your way to Wollongong’s ONLY Irish pub this Friday!
