The Hawks Championship Men want to make their home court advantage count in Saturday night’s Waratah League round 3 clash against Bankstown at the Snakepit.

The Hawks lost 79-73 away to Manly in round one with Saturday’s clash their first at home this season.

  The Hawks have a young squad which includes top juniors Pat Lancaster and Lachlan Dent, while Bankstown are coming off narrow losses to Maitland and Hornsby, plus an 89-70 home thumping of Hills Hornets last Sunday. Tip off is 6.30pm, with entry free.

In a  big day of NSW Waratah League Basketball at the Snakepit, the Hawks Championship Women – who reached the grand final last season – take on Bankstown at 4.30pm.

The Hawks Division 1 Men also host Shoalhaven Tigers from 2.30pm.

The Hawks Youth League Women Div 1 side begin the day by hosting Bankstown from 12.30pm. The Girls lost to Central Coast away in their first match of the season.
