Ogilvie is part of a squad which will fly out on Saturday to play a four-game series against Pakistan.
New coach Colin Batch held a camp involving a number of emerging talent, in a bid to boost the Australian depth for the four-year Olympics cycle towards Tokyo.
Both the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos missed out on medals at Rio last year.
“It’s the start of the new campaign for the Kookaburras," Batch said.
"It’s a new coaching staff, a number of new players and some players who have been around the program for a little while but need to establish themselves or re-establish themselves in the squad.
“Hopefully, giving some our younger players more international experience will also help us make our team selection for the Azlan Shah Cup and the World League semi-finals.”
