Grant Bonner had plenty of fish for the family for days to come, starting with a 3.85kg snapper and 10 smaller snapper to have a bag weight of 6.1 kilos. He also had 5 tailor to 3 kilos and a few wrasse that saw him easily take out highest points and mystery fish sections.

Rod Kent fished off Austinmer for three flatties, six snapper and a nice 1.4 kilo tailor.

Daniel Dawson snuck off to his favourite spot at Bass Point for 20 bream that totalled 9 kilos and won himself the BRE section.

Jared O’Hara also joined him at Bassy for 13 bream weighing 4.1 kilos.

Fred Tagg and Paul Hansen ventured out off Bellambi Harbour for bonito, the heaviest at 1.5 kilos, plus a few flatties and wrasse. Paul won barrel draw.

Geoff Dryland and Killer Carden each had 10 flatties to a kilo and the junior award went to Marley O’Hara.
