The Arcadians Theatre Group are embarking on a large-scale production of the show that will run at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre in August, and are looking for up to 50 cast members.
Arcardians president Liza Allen said they’re opening auditions to anyone, so aspiring singers and actors don’t necessarily have to be members of the group.
“It’s going to be epic,” Ms Allen said. “We did Phantom [of the Opera] in 2014, this will be the same level. That was a sell out success at the IPAC and we’re hoping to match that.”
Information nights will be held next Tuesday and Thursday at the Miners Lamp Theatre in Corrimal from 7pm.
Registrations open next Friday with auditions being held at the end of April.
