ASO’s team of aviation imagery specialists capture all the action of major airshows such as that at Illawarra Regional Airport. Wings Over Illawarra organiser Mark Bright said the partnership will provide “amazing photography and 360-degree visuals”.
Mr Bright said it will provide an even better showcase of the spectacular event. “ASO is a group of 10 passionate Australian aviation photographers and videographers, who have visually documented air shows and military exercises across Australia as well in the US, New Zealand, UK, Japan, Korea and even Greenland”.
The team led by Mark Jessop & Leigh Atkinson recognises the importance of working closely with airshow management, military and aircraft owners/operators. The photographers and videographers like to maximise impact.
They like to capture rare and unique aircraft and flights to record history.
“We strive to document aviation history as it happens so future generations can enjoy every angle,” he said.
NSW Government through Destination NSW has secured Wings Over Illawarra from 2017 to 2019. Further information and tickets at www.wingsoverillawarra.com.au and www.facebook.com/WingsOverIllawarra.
