Two teenagers assaulted a 34-year-old man and a 41-year-old man on a quiet residential street in Queanbeyan on Thursday night, police say.

NSW Police said a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy approached the two men on Sassafras Crescent some time before 9.15pm Thursday.
One of the teenagers allegedly attacked the 41-year-old with a baseball bat , bashing him unconscious and causing head and chest injuries. The other man had cuts to the face.
Both were later taken to hospital; the more severely beaten man was taken to Canberra Hospital, where he remained Friday.
The 34-year-old was discharged from the Queanbeyan hospital on Thursday night.
A NSW health spokesperson said a 17-year-old had also been admitted and discharged at Queanbeyan District Hospital on Thursday night.
NSW Police said they have spoken to the teenagers and investigations are ongoing.
