A man has been pulled from the water at Palm Beach, on Sydney's northern beaches, after disappearing during an afternoon swim.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, was reported missing by a family member about 3.40pm on Good Friday, a NSW Police spokesman said.
His body was retrieved about 20 minutes later.
Surf life savers and paramedics performed CPR, however he couldn't be revived.
Distraught family members were pictured comforting each other at the scene.
