Male quintet, Africa Entsha, use their voices only to perform traditional gospel style.
Think zulu songs full of rhythm and spirit mixed with English pop songs in their unique all-singing, all-dancing style.
They’re currently touring Australian capital cities but will stop by Anita’s Theatre in Thirroul on April 21.
In 2010 Africa Entsha performed at the World Cup opening ceremony, the 2012 ParaOlympic Games in London, and opened for pop sensation Paloma Faith at the Henley Festival in 2013.
The group has also won back-to-back awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Brighton Fringe Festival, Moldova’s Jazz Festival, and Ukraine’s Trigon Jazz Festival.
