The club will be wearing special jersey and raising funds for a worthy cause.
After last year’s successful initiative, that saw them raise more than $2000 for Livin Foundation, coach Jono Dallas said the whole club was excited to again do their part.
“Each year, we run a day like we will on Saturday and choose a worthy charity to raise funds for, which is particularly relevant to the club at the time,” Dallas said.
“This year we have chosen Charlie Teo’s Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.
“At the club, we have three brothers, Mitch, Reece and Brad Conley, who have been part of the club since 2011, going through a tough time at the moment, with a family member battling brain cancer.
“It acted as a catalyst to the club choosing this wonderful foundation to support important members of our club.
“It also is a cause that is close to my heart, with both Ben Jones and my wives being operated on by Charlie Teo a number of years ago.”
