The son of Nadeem captured the attention of the racing world more than a year before his maiden start due to his creative name, which is a play on the proposed title of a British research vessel, Boaty McBoatface.
The vessel was eventually named RSS Sir David Attenborough, but owners went ahead with the name Horsey McHorseface for his racing career.
After much anticipation, the gelding will make his debut at Kembla in the Lone Pine 3YO Maiden Plate (1000m) this weekend.
Trainer Bjorn Baker gave Horsey McHorseface a trial at the track earlier this month where he ran second behind stablemate Test The World.
The trainer expects his popular three-year-old will improve off his debut run where he will be ridden Keagan Latham from barrier two.
Race one jumps at 12.19pm.
