LIVING IN FEAR
The day has now come when we can no longer participate in formally remembering our Anzacs, especially the fallen, at marches or other outdoor events without fear of terrorist attacks from within our own population.

As with other nations around the world, who now live under the fear of such incidents or are already experiencing them, we have become victims of immigration policies that have become increasingly more ill-conceived.
Many of these policies ensure comfortable settlement for people from all around the world, but they are increasingly impacting negatively on those of us who want a united and cohesive nation rather than one made from a multitude of fast-growing, ethnic enclaves.
Australian multiculturalism has now arrived at a stage where some ethnic groups arrive in this country with the intention of living within their own state, under their own laws, and generating similar types of hate and violence to those they claim to be escaping.

STICKING TRUE
Michael Traynor has raised some interesting points regarding local Illawarra Rugby Union. I love helping out with coaching Uni 3rd Grade and attending games at the Uni and around the district. Just keep in thought Michael.
A League crowds are down even though Soccer has a massive junior fan base and Sydney FC has won a trophy which looks like a gilded toilet seat. Channel 9 are losing millions on one-day cricket.
Whilst rugby league has a very high media profile, Illawarra and Group 7 junior league join together to help foster rugby league at teenage level.
Quite often schoolkids attend gala days in soccer and league which are totally boring. Don't get me started on nippers and senior surf lifesaving numbers.
So Michael maybe you ought to try staying loyal to something. Sport of any kind is great for kids to learn such things as teamwork, loyalty and persistence.

GIMME SHELTER
One word for Wollongong City Council: Useless. It’s a pity the council union didn't occur as it could not have been any worse than what we have now.
Very early last week with complete disrespect for the elderly and disabled, plus people without vehicles, and on pension day, the council turned up and removed the bus shelter near the old hall in towradgi rd. No pre-warning or explanation.
It was chaos when people began turning up and there was nowhere to sit. Lucky it was good weather. Your reason for doing this had better be good council ?

OUT OF TIME?
Anzac gives us time to reflect on the futile hideousness of war. And on how, human nature being basically good, peace will overcome evil if we try hard to copy the courage of the Anzacs.
Unfortunately, this second reflection isn’t true. Today’s world has reached a point where wishful thinking can no longer keep us dumbed-down like before. Meanness, lying, bullying, hatred – these dominate both our personal lives and politics. What to do? There are many options.
Pre-emptively blow North Korea apart, teach children promiscuous gender-fluidity, adopt various postures towards Islam, impose sanctions on certain nation-states? None of these measures are sufficiently practical.
The one thing that is practical is to pray. How about an extra hour of praying per day? No time? On the contrary, if you don’t do it, I think you won’t have any time at all. None of us will. Time, for humans, will be no more.
