His song-writing skills developed in high school with his band Plumbers Crack and he went on to pursue a career as a solo singer-songwriter after school. Nathan’s solo efforts have seen him release a debut album titled Stay Here, on which he played all of the instruments. He has toured the east coast of Australia as well as parts of New Zealand.
Nathan is set to release his second album next month titled I Think I Know My Way which Nathan describes as; “an indie rock album with some cool electric beats, haunting backing vocals and catchy melodies”.
The new album was recorded at Silversound Studios by Ben Davies and features guest appearances from local artists including Adrian Herbert (drums), Jessica Brooker (keys/vocals), Jesse Cleal (vocals) as well as Ben Davies on drums.
“It differs from my first album as I have used more keys and female backing vocals,” Nathan said. “I believe my song writing has improved tenfold to my first album.”
See Nathan Flint live at The Heritage Hotel on June 2 as he launches his new album with support from Kate Cillekens and Joshua Burgh. Tickets at heritagehotel.com.au
